West Fork Trail, Sedona AZ
I love getting to explore locally in my own backyard and so I made the trek out to find this scenic trail North of Sedona. It’s most popular during Spring and Fall when the trees and landscape are the most vibrant colors. Despite missing some of the better Fall colors (visited end of October) I still wanted to capture this picturesque spot.
The trail itself is easy with minimal elevation gain. A little over 6 miles round trip with some criss-crossing back and forth over the creek. The creek is shallow in most areas and the water is so refreshingly cool you probably won’t mind getting a toe wet. You can go further into the canyon and creek but it requires wading through deeper waters. Check out this helpful article if you need more information on the trail: West Fork Trail.
