Puerto Rico, A Little Bit of Everything

Puerto Rico, A Little Bit of Everything

This island is packed with things to do and adventures for every type. My trip to PR involved traveling with locals and friends who knew where all the great spots were (and some places I can’t even recall). However, I got a taste of everything and saw every side to the island. The only downfall was not having enough time. For anyone interested in going consider checking out the following places:

  • Culebra
    • Smaller island East of the main island
    • Playa Flamenca is pictured. One of the most beautiful beaches you will visit. Great for hanging out all day and there is food and restrooms nearby.
  • Playa Sucia
    • Great for lounging at the beach and swimming
    • Go explore some off trail hiking close by
  • Old San Juan
    • Capital and oldest city with Spanish Colonel buildings and cobblestone streets
    • Known for the nightlife and bar hopping
    • Two unique landmarks to explore
  • Cuevo Ventana
    • Located in Arecibo
    • Open tours lead you through a cave that ends with a picturesque opening of the valley below
  • La Cueva Del Indio
    • Bright turquoise waters crash against rock formations
    • Great photography site
  • Mayaguez
    • Local spot near the University
